Yeleen Lee received an MFA(Fine Arts) with MFA Graduation Award(Somerville Art Prize) from Hunter College-the City University of New York(CUNY), New York City and a BFA(Fine Arts) from the Korean National University of Arts(full scholarship), Seoul, Korea. And she got the doctoral degree at Yonsei University, Seoul.
